Adding Objects

Applying a Layout Grid

  • First you must add a layout grid to your page.
  • On your objects pallete go to the Window>Objects
  • Drag the Layout Grid icon onto your page.
  • Specify it so the grid is 560 Width and 370 Height

Adding Images
 
  • This can either be done through the point and shoot method or by dragging.
  • For the point and shoot you will first need to drage the image inspector icon from the objects palette.
  • In the window that opens up you will select the shoot button and release the mouse when locate the name of your file or picture you want to load in the site window below.
  • Or another choice is to use the drag method. In this you will locate the jpg image itself within the site window, open it and drag the image onto your page.

Changing the Backround
 
  • Begin by choosing the windwo tab and click color to display the palette.
  • In this palette click the Web color list and selcect which one you would like.
  • Click and drag your selection up to the Page icon in the document window

Adding a Table

  • In your web page tables will be useful for containing text,images,and other objects. This is often used to help algign buttons for links.
  • Begin your table by selecting the table icon from the objects palette and drag it to your page.
  • The table inspector will come up and this can be used to specify the number of rows and columns you want.

  • You can then use the method described earlier to drag pre-made icons into your table to be used as links in the next step.
